Story Time in the Park

Story Time in the park will be every Friday for six weeks in the summer from June 23rd to July 28th. Story Time is for all ages. There will be a meaningful story, fun music, an activity, and a snack. Bring a blanket to sit on.
This is a FREE event for families to come together and enjoy the park.
We are in the pavilion right next to the lake in the C section by the playground. The playground is open to stay as long as you would like after the event and enjoy the park.
LEAP Discovery Center has created this event to help children leap off that Summer Slide by engaging in reading activities.
Everyone has heard the story of The Three Little Pigs! But…whatever happened to those pigs after the pigs were able to run to safety? This week we will be reading “The Three Little Superpigs” by Claire Evans and then students will build their own piggy house. You can’t beat an exciting story for all ages, fun activity, yummy snack, and meet new friends. Hope to see you there.
