Story Time at the Park

Story Time in the park will be every Friday for six weeks in the summer from June 23rd to July 28th. Story Time is for all ages. There will be a meaningful story, fun music, an activity, and a snack. Bring a blanket to sit on.
This is a FREE event for families to come together and enjoy the park.
We are in the pavilion right next to the lake in the C section by the playground. The playground is open to stay as long as you would like after the event and enjoy the park.
LEAP Discovery Center has created this event to help children leap off that Summer Slide by engaging in reading activities.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the kings horses and all the Kings men couldn’t put Humpty together again. So was that it for Humpty? This week we are reading “After the Fall” by Dan Santat. You won’t want to miss the glorious comeback for our dear friend Humpty. We will then learn different techniques in making a paper airplane and seeing who flies the farthest. You can’t beat an exciting story for all ages, fun activity, yummy snack, and meet new friends.
