During the spring or summer there is nothing better than taking a stroll in Downtown Georgetown. The ambiance is just so relaxing and many nights you see tons of people from the community come out and hang out as well. Many families like to bring their lawn chairs and hang out on the lawn on the town square. Many bring their dogs out for a walk as well. Our family loves to go shopping and stop by Scoops for a delicious ice cream. They always have such fun and unique flavors, I’m still trying new ones when I visit. The grandkids are set on their favorites, but I like a little change. If you are going to have their ice cream you cannot miss their fresh cooked waffle cones as well, one of our favorites. It is also nice to discover wonderful new things in the All Things Toys as well. There are unique and mostly educational quality toys, nostalgic candies and sodas. The staff is always very kind and treats you like small town family. If you have not visited this gem yet, you must put it on your list for “must do’s” for this summer.
