Hi, I’m Tamara Cazenave, Owner and founder of LEAP Discovery Center. What is LEAP Discovery Center you ask? Well that is a fabulous question and so glad you asked. LEAP Discovery Center is an amazing hands on, interactive children’s museum coming soon to Williamson County.
About; You see, a little over six years ago my daughter and her family, my parents, my other daughter and one of my two boys, took a LEAP of faith and moved to Texas. Texas has been a wonderful place to raise my grandkids, a resort style retirement that my hard working parents so deserved, and a blessing for my daughter and I to teach in the Texas school systems. One of the things we have noticed and enjoyed most about Texas is the feeling of community. That is how the idea of LEAP Discovery Center came about. LEAP was first born about three years ago when my family and I were enjoying family game night together. Then COVID hit and that dream was put a little on hold. But, during the past three years we have had the opportunity to grow and develop our original ideas into something absolutely incredible and I am so excited to finally be able to move forward and turn this dream into the actual thing that you and your families will be able to create lasting memories and your children will be able to grow their skills,and their imaginations. They will be able to develop social skills, leadership, and learn to collaborate with others.
So I am now inviting you to be part of the LEAP Discovery Center family. Since this is a labor of love for our community, I thought it best if we included you in our journey. Along the way I will be getting your feedback and opinions on certain things. I will be having you name our mascot, yeah that cute little frog doesn’t even have a name yet. We will be giving special offers, including being first to join in on our birthday club. We will be hosting social events, fundraisers, and pop-up events along the way.
In fact our first call to action is going to be for you to follow us on Facebook. So for our launch’s first goal, I’m challenging us to establish 500 followers by the end of the summer. The first 100 followers are going to be invited to our pre grand open event as a special guest for being part of the original LEAP family. So like and share our page to help us reach that 500 goal.
